💡 1 SOLUTION FOR EFFECTIVE MINISTRY

Setting ministry goals without determining what rhythms or practices your church will create to achieve said goals will always lead to failure.

  • We want to start two new small groups. But how?

  • We want to increase attendance by 10%. But how?

  • We are going to grow our volunteer team by 8 people. But how?

  • We are going to increase our total giving. But how?

Ministry goals often fail because we pick a goal without thinking through how our church will make it happen. Goals tell us nothing other than what we want to have happen, but they don’t tell us how.

What is the process or strategy that we lead you to raise up two new small group leaders? How are you going to take advantage of big days like Christmas and Easter to reach more people? What are you going to do beyond just saying you need more volunteers to get more volunteers?

If you don’t have a how all you have is a frustrating goal that won’t be hit.

Think about what you want to do, and then spend a lot more time determining how you are going to do it.

🤔 1 CHALLENGE FOR LIFE AND MINISTRY

Instead of asking, “Will it succeed?” ask yourself, “What should our church attempt?”
