💡 1 SOLUTION FOR EFFECTIVE MINISTRY
If you want to get more done in less time, reduce your quantity and increase your quality.
If you want to be more productive in ministry, try reducing how often you work on something and increasing how intentionally you do it.
In other words, less can be more when it’s done on purpose.
Pastors who block out focused time for sermon prep often write better sermons than those who work on it in scattered moments throughout the week.
Ministry leaders who plan intentional meeting rhythms typically lead stronger teams than those who meet “when needed.”
Even Jesus withdrew to solitary places to pray. He didn’t just pray when it was convenient.
The truth is, intentional rhythms lead to better results than sporadic effort.
Personally, I check email much less than most people, but still stay on top of it, because I schedule time for it, and when I do it, I focus entirely on it.
The same is true for sermon prep, content creation, counseling prep, or strategic planning: if you show up consistently, even when you don’t feel like it, things start to move forward.
Want to get more done with less stress? Set a time. Focus on one thing. Be consistent.
Reduce your quantity. Increase your quality. Less is more when it’s intentional.
