๐ก 1 SOLUTION FOR EFFECTIVE MINISTRY
One simple way to help keep your people informed about upcoming events at your church is by putting an updated graphic in your bathrooms every week.
At New City, we put these on each bathroom stall door and on the wall of the urinals. We also put them on the bathroom mirrors so people can see them when washing their hands. In addition we put on in the lobby right next to where people get coffee.
Below is an example of a recent one we used.
We simply print these on a regular 8.5 ร 11 piece of paper. We then insert them into a clear plastic sign holder that is attached to the wall/doors/mirror using command strips.
If you are portable and canโt leave something up in the bathrooms during the week, simply use a sign holder like this one that you can place on the sink area of the bathroom(s). We use this one in the lobby.
Every week, we print out an updated list of events and replace them in the restrooms. We also change the color each week (THE ABOVE IMAGE IS WHAT COLOR) so people donโt get used to seeing the same-looking poster each week.
As an incentive to get people to look at them, we add a new interesting fact each week as well.
Lastly, I would recommend no more than three announcements on these posters. Anything more than that and it can become too noisy.
