💡 1 SOLUTION FOR EFFECTIVE MINISTRY
How much time have you wasted with via emails, texts, and phone calls trying to set up a time to meet with people in your church?
I say “wasted” because it can be done much more efficiently, easily, and with as little as one (yes one) message being sent.
Whether it is a meeting some initiates with me or I initiate with them, my process is the exact same.
I send an email with a link to my Calendly offering to meet. A few days later, I sometimes follow up with one text (especially if it is a new person to our church) doing the same thing.
That’s it. And over 90% of the time that is all it takes.
Instead of the back and forth of figuring a time AND place, in Calendly you can offer your calendar AND give preselected options for people to meet. So when they select a time they also select a place. And everything for the meeting is set.
Below is an example email I send to new guests on Monday morning who visited New City that previous Sunday:
Subject: Coffee // Lunch
Hey Robert,
It was great to meet you yesterday at New City. As I mentioned, I'd love to grab lunch or coffee sometime to better connect if you are interested!
If so, pick any time on my calendar below that works for you. If you need a different time let me know and we can figure something out.
Thanks!
You can also click on “my calendar” above to see how it is set up. After you pick a time you are then presented with preselected meeting spots that are all relatively near New City.
“To be determined” leaves the option for us to find another spot, but the majority of people simply select a location from the list I provided.
This method saves me a ton of time. If scheduling meetings is a pain for you, I’d highly recommend you give something like this a try.
