💡 1 SOLUTION FOR EFFECTIVE MINISTRY

Here's a tip when it comes to talking about money, giving, and generosity at your church:

Don’t apologize for it or give caveats for why you are talking about it.

Generosity is a marker of a follower of Jesus. Yet if every time we preach about it we couch it in apologetic terms like it's some big bad thing, people who would otherwise not think anything of it begin to wonder if they should feel a certain way when you talk about giving.

Think about it. When we talk about forgiveness, Biblical wisdom, love, following Jesus, or any other Biblical teaching, we just talk about it.

So my advice is to talk about generosity like you talk about forgiveness, grace, obedience, or any other biblical topic. It's not a bad thing, it's not a scary thing, it's just one of the ways we can become more like Jesus.
